The 1965 pendant was originally designed by Tynell in 1947 for the Finland House in New York, which functioned as a showcase for the best in Finnish design. The lamp demonstrates the designer’s aptitude to using metal, and his ability to capture an exuberant lightness and elegance in his brass creations.
