Founded in 1947, Treku is currently run by the third generation of the Aldabaldetreku Family. The factory is located in the small coastal town of Zarautz in the Basque country, a well-known village in the XVI century due to its woodworking tradition for the naval industry. The Treku of today is the lovechild of yesterday’s experience and tomorrow’s ideas, where technology and above all woodcraft live together day by day.

It arose from a formal idea: how to make a simple model that combines wood and metal in a functional way. Created with simplicity, innovation and originality in mind, Bost harmonises wood and metal organically and works in different spaces, whether in the home or in the work place.
