Catherine table lamp

Marie Michielssen first venture into ceramics, the Catherine lamp clearly shows her love for materials that she can shape with her hands. The tactile nature of this piece celebrates the irregular finish achieved from hand modelling and is paired with a soft linen lampshade. It is a source of warmth and cosiness, even when it’s not turned on, the object radiates an atmosphere.

Marie Michielssen has been designing for Serax since 25 years. Over the years, she has evolved with the company that initially supplied decorative pots and vases to florists and garden centers.  Trained as a graphic designer, she became self-employed in 1995.
