Designed in 1957 by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Søn, the CH33 is a comfortable dining chair with finely sculptured features. The concept for the chair is rooted in striking the perfect balance between aesthetics and sensible ergonomics. Wegner introduced subtle design details, such as tapered legs which are thickest where they need to support load-bearing joints with the seat’s rails, and which become slender closest to the floor. 

The chair supports the body with a curved oval seat and backrest. It allows for a wide range of seating positions, making it well suited for use in dining rooms and numerous hospitality settings. The CH33P features an upholstered seat.
