Designed by Neri & Hu for Arflex, Cradle brings attention to the structural framework often concealed in furniture design. The result is an armchair that is both unusual and understated.

Metal legs form the Cradle chair’s exposed framework with distinctive triangular details. This allows the shell, with or without additional arm "Love cushions", to be cradled by a leather belt, for which the piece is named. The balance between different materials imbues a sense of harmony and craftsmanship to the overall design.

Also available as a sofa, Cradle draws inspiration from the rich history of Italian furniture, known for its bold sculptural geometry, and from the modernist movement, which emphasises function and authentic structural expression.
