The Story
A machine knitted ovoid shaped pouffe, inspired by an abstract painting, which contracts free flowing forms with solid geometry. Bundle is an occasional piece of furniture that brings colour, pattern and softness to the home.///Description
Made from a hard wearing pure wool, which can be dyed in spectacular colours. The wool is spun and dyed in Scotland, while the filling is made from natural and sustainable materials at SCP’s specialist upholstery factory in Norfolk, England.
Initially launched to critical acclaim in 2009, the SCP Boxed Collection challenged designers to create smaller-scale pieces that fit within the dimensions of a standard DHL international shipping box (480 x 400 x 390mm). More broadly, the aim was to design objects that could be easily carried out of a store or efficiently shipped via e-commerce.
For 2025, SCP has revisited the Boxed Collection brief, inviting a mix of established designers and emerging talent to explore the concept once again. With no restrictions on material, the brief encourages a diverse range of product typologies, reflecting the evolving landscape of contemporary design.
