Kaiser Idell 6631-T table light

The 6631-T table lamp is the most prominent from Kaiser Idell series and is often regarded as a symbol of noble Germanic design and precision engineering. The iconic asymmetric shade sits on a ball-jointed swivel mechanism that allows it to be easily adjusted while in use. The base joint has a tension lever that can alter the angle of the curved arm.///Description
The Kaiser Idell series was created in 1936 with the essence of original Bauhaus and Germanic design. The lighting collection includes many varients including table, suspension and floor lamps. The Name is derived from the original manufacturing facility Kaiser & Co and a combination of the word 'idea' and the designer's name Dell.

Material
Steel shade and base are hand-painted in either gloss or matt finish. Brass fittings are chrome-plated.
