Designed with comfort in mind, the chair seat and back are made of moulded wood. This process allowed Piet Hein Eek to introduce gentle curves into the chair, which greatly improved the level of comfort it provides. The result is a highly popular chair silhouette that has become the basis for all the Dutch designer's later chairs.
The side chair can be used individually, as a set, or paired with the Canteen dining table in oak, to host both large gatherings and intimate family mealtimes.
Due to the nature of the materials used, slight variances may occur in the wood and colours of the chairs.
