An addition to Patricia Urquiola’s Shimmer series for Glas Italia, the Shimmer mirrors fit perfectly within the ethereal aesthetic. The mirrors react beautifully to different light sources and appear differently when viewed from different angles. The hues and tones give an impression of both transparency and density through their refraction, depending on how the furniture is viewed.
Constructed from laminated glass, the shimmer achieves reflectivity and luminosity through the blended, diluted silvering mix finish with bi-chromatic geometric particles. The combination creates a translucent finish achieving brilliant reflections and a spectrum of refracted light.
