"Singing sand" occurs when sand slides down the slope of certain sand dunes and produces a deep, reverberating hum. With this wallpaper, Calico sought to capture the vibrations, echoes, ripples, ridges and waves created by shifting sands.

The abstract design explores the parallels between the oscillation of sound waves and desert dunes, in a choice of colourways that illustrate the movements of sound and sand.
