String shelving - pack of three

The wooden shelves are available in two widths, 58 cm and 78 cm, and two depths, 20 cm and 30 cm. The shelf fits with wire and plexiglass end caps from String® System as long as the shelf and end caps have the same depth. The shelves are flexible and easy to move around according to taste. Create a shelf in a monochrome design or mix shelves in different colors and types of wood.

Lightweight, flexible and simple to install, the 50 year old range is a staple example of what has since become known as “Scandinavian Design”. First designed and manufactured in 1949 by architect and designer Nils "Nisse" Strinning, the String system was reissued in 2005 and is available in a range colours and veneers, and is still manufactured in Malmo, Sweden.
