String wall panels

The String wall pannels are available in two heights, 50 cm and 75 cm, and two depths, 20 cm and 30 cm. These pannels are the basis for building your thong shelf adding elements from the String System range. The wall panels screw into the wall and do not touch the floor or ceiling, making them flexible and easy to adapt to the space.

Lightweight, flexible and simple to install, the 50 year old range is a staple example of what has since become known as “Scandinavian Design”. First designed and manufactured in 1949 by architect and designer Nils "Nisse" Strinning, the String system was reissued in 2005 and is available in a range colours and veneers, and is still manufactured in Malmo, Sweden. Wall panels are available in either black or white in two sizes and can be bought as a set of two or singularly.
