The Story
The Margaret Howell edition of the Type 75 floor lamp is a refreshing take on a design classic. The original Yellow Ochre colour was matched to an original 1970’s Anglepoise lamp, now two other complimentary colours have been added. Admiring the simple functionality of the lighting brand, British designer Howell has created a fictional floor light which subtly brightens up any space.///Description
British lighting brand Anglepoise has a 70 year history and iconic design aesthetic. Their table lamps and task lights are characterised by a pioneering balance mechanism developed in the 1930’s. Remaining true to George Carwardine's pioneering design, the Type 75 was developed by Sir Kenneth Grange in the 1970's.
